Sponsors
Sponsors have the opportunity to sponsor specific projects. All funds received goes directly to a project and follows a cost structure agreement between the sponsor and NEDO. Unless agreed upon in advance, NEDO will not charge any administration costs, other than normal bank/money transfer costs.

We need more sponsors for our student sponsor program (SSP)
NEDO is currently sponsoring 4 students at ACE (Australian Centre for Education), 2 students on our high school diploma program, and 6 students at university.
- 15-40
dollars a month can keep a child/youth at school through high school.
- 20 dollars
a month gives a youth the opportunity to study English at a proper English school,
opening up for good job opportunities and a possibility of attending
universities abroad.
- 30-80 dollars per
month pays for a university degree (4 years, bachelor).
- 70-90
dollars per month pays for a master degree (two years).
We are looking for sponsors in order to build more wells and biosand water filters.
- 45 dollars per
water filter (60 litres of clean drinking water per day). Between 06-10 we
produced and distributed more than 500 filters covering more than 7.500
people in selected villages.
- Water wells
for clean drinking water, small scale organic farming and cattle. Wells
costs from $200 and upwards.
We are also looking for sponsors for our Be Safe Be Seen project. In 2010 we are sponsored by Soria Moria Hotel. The target this year is Wat Bo Primary School with more than 4500 children.
Want to lend us money?
From 2011 we will expand our Student Sponsorship Program to include low interest student loans. We will then include the opportunity for sponsors to lend us money rather than giving it. The minimum lending period is 5 years, and the interest rate for 2011 is set to 0%.
Projects we endorse in Cambodia
If you want to donate money to other projects, NEDO now maintains a list of projects we endorse. The list is short, but the projects are good and your donations will not go to waste. If you want to donate money to any of these projects, please do so directly with the specific project.
